The thorn that I have in my side is the fact that the judges with the exception of Randy has determined Amercia vote for Adam. I has taken the excitement out of my sails. The other contestants have not chance of winning and now as I see it the show is boring, and a winner has been determined before the final day.How about the concept of IDOL and the opportunity for all the contestants that have a chance to prove their talent. But the judges have made the decision.
Disappointent die hard Idol watcher....
Last weeks double elimination has seen our Top 12 drop quickly to a Top 5. CRAZY!
It's the songs of the Rat Pack tonight so it should be a bit of a blast for Tuesday night's edition of American Idol.
Jamie Fox is mentoring the Idols this week.
Let's get into the show!

I really liked that. Those notes at the end were SAH-WEET!
Randy: You're in it to win it. Your best performance to date.
Kara: You've set the technical standard very high tonight.
Paula: You've made this wonderful transition from boy next door to gentleman. Near impecable performance.
Simon: I'm not quite as enthusiastic as the other 3. I thought it was a little wet. I don't think I get the feeling you could win American Idol./p>
Again, Allison is on fire. That was one sweet performance. Tonight is shaping up to be great.
Randy: I loved it!
Kara: I aint nervous for you anymore. You converted some new fans tonight. That was a way beyond your years rendition.
Paula: I've been waiting so long to see how you'd approach a ballad. I'm very proud of you.
Simon: I thought it was a great performance but I don't think you believe you can win. I have a horrible feeling you could be in trouble tonight.
He's like a cat with nine lives is our Matt. The two extra weeks have been a bonus but I think tonight may be the end of the road as the others will all be better.
Randy: You're up to the task but it was a bit pitchy. It didn't all quite come together for me.
Kara: You have to be the leader of the pack to establish yourself but I didn't feel you were emotionally connected to it.
Paula: I felt the emotional connection and I love what you did with the song.
Simon: I disagree with Randy. For me it was the only believable and authentic song I've heard tonight. I thought you were absolutely brilliant.
This was a little boring for me tonight. Danny might find himself sharing the bottom two with Matt this week.
Randy: This is a singing competition and you can sing!
Kara: The end of that performance was the most creative you've ever been with the melody.
Paula: Stellar performance. I can tell you can see the finish line in front of you.
Simon: I felt you came out tonight to prove a point. That was outstanding.
Wow! Can Adam do any wrong? I am living for his performances every week now. He's a star and no one else is coming close!
Randy: You are in the zone consistently.
Kara: My mouth drops open every time you perform.
Paula: Words can not describe... you make me better than good. It's like watching the Olympics and you're Michael Phelps..
Simon: Randy saying that is like complaining that a cow moos. Winning is everything and that was the best performance of the year.
Awesome show tonight. Unfortunately we need to get rid of another one tomorrow night. Catch you then for more live performances, guest stars and this weeks American Idol elimination!
Does'nt anyone else see the resemblance between Matt Giraud and a young Paul Newman?!
I love Matt, he's under-appreciated!
i cant believe Lil rounds is out and Matt isn't god!! that is really stupid! And simon speaks the truth he is not harsh i mean really. but adam is awesome!! but i think lil will get a record deal. meagan joy should get a record deal.she is so good!!!!! i mean don't you believe me she shouldn't have been eliminated!!
It's going to be a big night. Two people are leaving American Idol.
Kicking off the show tonight the Top 7 performing
Shake Your Body which was choreographed by our very own Paula Abdul! It was pretty hot.
After the group performance the Top 7 present Paula with an enormous bouquet of flowers.
It's results time. Lil Rounds is in the Bottom Three. No, she's gone!
Not really a surprize unless you were banking on the security Dial Idol was offering.
Freda Payne takes to the stage and performs
Band of Gold. It's a fairly ugly performance. Thelma Houston takes to the stage and performs
Don't Leave Me This Way and then KC from the Sunshine Band
Get Down Tonight! What a line up tonight! Big names. Big let down vocally though.
Back to the voting results and America thought it did fit for Kris Allen who is safe. Adam Lambert is the next cab off the rank. He's totally safe as the audience screams in delight.
Danny Gokey is safe. Anoop Desai is in the bottom three. Joining Anoop is Allison Iraheta. Matt Giraud gets another lifeline and is safe.
David Archuleta returns with
Touch My Hand.
Going home as well tonight is Anoop Desai!
After the judges saved Matt last week, tonight's elimination is going to have twice the impact as two are cut from American Idol.
The polls are again, pretty weird. Lil Rounds is at the bottom of ours but is at the top on Dial Idol. That's a huge amount of discrepancy!
Lil Rounds takes out our bottom spot on Idol Blog and is joined in a bottom three by Matt Giraud and then Anoop Desai. Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey have a slight gap on the field while Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are well out in front.
Are we going to be in for a shock elimination tonight? Is the axe falling on two necks going to surprize everyone? Only time will tell!
After the judges saved Matt last week, this week will see a double elimination with two contestants being sent packing.
It's disco night tonight so it should be a bit of a blast for Tuesday night's edition of American Idol.
Let's get into the show!

Bye Bye Lil. Your time is up.
Randy: You definitely can sing but it still didn't really show us what kinda artist you are.
Kara: Everyone has been waiting for you to sing Chaka Khan but I'm not sure it was worth the wait.
Paula: I applaud you for your vocal recovery but I don't think you hit it tonight.
Simon: Lil, you look so sad. I think that was your final shot.
That was awesome. Totally loved this performance by Kris. Loved the arrangement. In fact, everything about it!
Randy: We're looking for the best undiscovered talent and that was amazing.
Kara: That risk paid off. That sounded like it could go on your record.
Paula: There are a lot of women who shop in the men's department but not many men who shop in the women's department. That was a great fit.
Simon: That was original and not karaoke. It was a fantastic performance.
That was a better performance from Danny. I actually enjoyed that.
Randy: You turned that into something that really worked for you because I was worried it didn't have enough melody for what you do.
Kara: You're right on it! Another solid performance.
Paula: Just when I think you reach the top you showcase more agility. And you have one of the sexiest voices ever.
Simon: I can't fault your vocal but I didn't get any star power from that performance. It was a bit awkward and clumsy.
Again, Allison is on fire. What a star she is turning out to be.
Randy: I didn't love the arrangement but you're one of the best singers.
Kara: You picked the right song but I wasn't loving the arrangement either.
Paula: You hit it off the charts with that last note.
Simon: I think you were always going to come into this week as an underdog but that was a brilliant performance.
Here's a great performance from Adam where he's pulled it right back. This guy is such a legend! Lambert for the win!
Randy: You have it majorly going on.
Kara: This was the most memorable peformance. The way you connect is inspiring.
Paula: You chose a disco song and didn't make it cliche and I felt the pain in your performance.
Simon: You did something we weren't expecting. It was memorable.
Funky. Fun. Enough?
Randy: You can really sing even though I really didn't love the song.
Kara: You bought disco back.
Paula: Last week the judges saved your life. This week you saved your own life.
Simon: I think you need to get yourself out of idol land for a moment. I didn't hear any originality in that.
I enjoyed that performance. It definitely sounded radio friendly and had a fantastic pop, current feel.
Randy: A rough last note but overall, nice baby nice.
Kara: I really liked the beat. It sounded like it could have been on the radio. The last two weeks have been your best performances.
Paula: The look, the growth, you look fantastic. Real men know how to wear pink. You hit that magical note in your voice too.
Simon: It was a horrible version of that song and genuinely, your worst performance.
I just have to say that I really admire these contestants for all that they put into the show, and in turn all that they're getting from it. It is not easy (to say the least) to stand in front of millions of people and POUR YOUR HEART OUT, week after week, and be OPEN to honest and brutal feedback. We should all be so lucky to not only have the opportunity to do what they're doing entertainment-wise, but also to receive that honest feedback that leads to ultimate and utmost growth.
If ever there was a reason to get upset at the producers of American Idol, only allowing two of the judges to provide critique appears to be it.
We've had numerous emails and comments left on Idol Blog with many upset fans annoyed that Simon Cowell wasn't able to provide his input to each of the contestants.
While the show is definitely about finding the next American Idol, it appears that plenty of people are tuning in each week to hear what Mr Cowell has to say.
Here are some of the comments we've received:
I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU MADE THE DECISION TO ONLY LET 2 JUDGES SPEAK!!!!!! THAT IS CRAZY. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE TIME - GET RID OF CARA - SHE ADDS NO VALUE WHATSOEVER TO THE SHOW. AND CUT OUT SOME OF THE OTHER STUFF IN THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOW. WE WANT TO HEAR WHAT THEY ALL (3) HAVE TO SAY - I FAST FORWARD PAST CARA BY THE WAY. BAD BAD BAD DECISION.
Get Simon to quit sidebarring while the other judges are talking and then there will be time for all 4 judges comments. Split up the seating arrangement of the judges, maybe that will help.
Four judges are to many. I want to hear what Simon has to say on all performances.
I have to admit that i absolutely hate that only two judges get to talk tonight. In my opinion, if something has to be cut, it should be the ridiculous long greeting of the judges at the beginning. Another suggestion would be to shorten the idol clips or the time Ryan has with the contestants before they show the idol clips of the week. Simon is number one and I want to hear him judge every person. Him not getting to judge everyone is a terrible idea. Everyone knows that Simon is the only judge America really wants to hear. I am really disappointed that I can't hear Simon's opinion about everyone tonight.
Look, Kara needs to never be a judge on this show again. All she does is copy whatever Randy or the judges before her say. I knew she was going to get on my nerves when she flipped out on the girl in the bikini during auditions. She made herself look so bad at that point. She put herself out there as an insecure and immature baby. I don't even think she cares about the contestants on the show at all. She is self-centered and has no idea what she is doing. Honestly, I change the channel when she speaks. And why is she standing up and clapping and singing with the contestants?
