I think Lee and Crystal

I think Lee and Crystal should do Cheryl Crow/Kid Rock "Pictures" as a Duet, and Casey should do Pearl Jam "Alive, Black (unplugged) Yellow Ledbetter, or Why go Home?" Casey sings all tight lipped just like Eddie Vetter, for a solo Lee should try Goo Goo Dolls "Iris" (will drive the girls crazy), and I think Crystal would do justice to "I want a Little Sugaer in My Bowl" by Nina Simone

People..... Im pissed........

People..... Im pissed........ I think the judges where unfair with Andrew Gar...... They keep im judging him based on what ever performance he did in the past. And this has me pissed. Cuz the guy is good, his giving it his all. And week after week the judges comment on his past performance which set his bar so high that the judges cant even judge him on anything else. I DVRed the show and watched it last night.... Andrew sang I heard it thru the grapevine. I tough he did a great freaking job.... Next thing you know the judges bash him so bad that the guy left sad and a bet 10million viewer's who follow the judges comments now thing he sucks and will not vote for him next week. I think the production wants to get him out.

I recorded the show last

I recorded the show last night and was thrilled that David Cook won. I'm just an old rocker from way-back. My question ... did anyone in the Richmond, VA area record the finale and happen to also record the Fox News at 10? My niece hit a home run in the District Semi-Finals and it was shown on the news. My Fox News comes from North Carolina, so I didn't get to see it. Help! I would greatly appreciate if anyone has the Fox News at 10 from May 21 to please send it to me ... lakewavrnr@aol.com.

So far America has gotten it right for once. Last year was a fiasco.

On top of that can someone please answer why on earth Paula is still there? Simon is the only one that has an realistic view into this competition. He't right about 99% of the time. He misses some, but very,very few.

i love david archuleta all the way he is practically flawless when part of the song is good for him, all of it is good. i dont get why people say that he cant win american idol because he has that bit of a raspy voice. HE HAD FRIGGING VOCAL PARALYSIS IF YOU HAD IT YOUD SING LIKE THAT 2. david cook is probably my 2nd fav and carly coming in 3rd. chikieze has his good and bad days, he and jason castro r 4th and 5th.michael johns has a good voice but is forgetable. ramiele,syesha and evryone else is 2.KL sux

It's Ramiele for the win....she is within the same league of Clarkson and Underwood among previous winners. Young, charismatic, beautiful and talented....Older and married ones don't sell records......Example....nobody is buying Taylor Hick's record.

Let Brooke sing Heart,

Let Brooke sing Heart, Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks solo ("Landslide" would be a REAL WINNER for you!!!!), Carley Simon or Sheryl Crow & I GUARANTEE a PHENOMENOL performance. Same with David Cook - sing some Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. and Michael Johns - HELLO where is the U2 - PLEASSSSEEEE sing some U2 !!!???? Carly - well, she can sing almost anything ... but how about some ... how about something by "The Cranberries"?? Oh, and BLACKBIRD last week ... THAT performance was AMAZING ... I may be a minority here, but did ANYONE ELSE hear the FANTASTIC up, down & around again tone(s) that she can hit? If not ... clean out your ears. WOW !!!! David Archuleta, he's GOT SOME LUNGS, and he may make it somewhere ... but he'll fall on the Soft AC stations in your hometown - which isn't a bad thing at all ... he's just NOT going to fall on the top 40 "Pop/Rock" list ... he doesn't have THAT in him. But WHAT a GREAT SET OF LUNGS !!!!! Syesha & Ramiele both also have fantastic voices .... Syesha - WHERE IS THE Vanessa Williams or Toni Braxton????? Ramiele PLEASE LET IT OUT lil' one .... YOU HAVE IT - PLEASE SHOW it or we are going to lose you .... and Jason Castro ... I'm a fan, but you REALLY NEED to step it up a notch. I like your sound & DON'T LET GO OF YOUR GUITAR - NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY .... that's your thing & your GREAT at it. However, the "voice" isn't up there with some of the others ... so you MUST STEP IT UP A NOTCH. Dave Matthews? Get a good ROCK N' Roll song (i.e. Bon Jovi or something of the likes) and ROCK IT OUT ACAPELLA !!!!! I don't want to see those blue eyes go ... but your days are numbered if you don't step it up to the plate .....

I know you agree with me from reading your comment, however I MUST put my 2 cents in on that note ...

For the LOVE OF ... did you NEED to bring HIM INTO THE PICTURE EVER AGAIN? Seriously, Simon summed him up in one sentence that Season ... Drunk Dad TRYING to sing at a wedding reception. That was TRULY THE MOST PATHETIC WIN IN AMERICAN IDOL HISTORY!!!!! Where is HE now???? I said it then & I say it now .. TAYLOR HICKS - WHO WOULD EVER LISTEN TO HIM &/or BUY his music, for that matter? Maybe, just MAYBE the 50+ age group, other than that .... NOBODY !!!!! Whew ... THAT Win STILL HAUNTS ME !!!!

Oh, I DON'T agree with Ramielle being the Win either ... she's great .... but the talent this season will rule her out - TRUST ME. Brooke, Carly, Michael J & David Cook WILL BLOW HER OUT OF THE WATER. I used to think Archuleta would also do the same, but in the past two weeks ... I've digressed. He's a STRONG singer .... but YIKES - WHY IS HE SINGING these HORRIBLE SONGS???? (other than the horrible fact that American Idol MADE these "poor" YOUNG singers sing The BEATLES for two solid weeks in a row. THEY WERE great ... but more than 1/2 of them can't relate & then the judges chewed them up & spit them out b/c the songs/performances were BLAZEE ... HELLO ... THEY HAD TO CHOOSE FROM THE BEATLES !!!! What more could they do? The BEATLES were PHENOMENOL in their day & STILL have a great following with some EXCEPTIONAL music .... but these singers ALL FALL UNDER THE AGE of 30 - LET THEM SING WHAT THEY WANT TO SING & WHAT THEY KNOW - SO WE CAN SEE WHO THEY REALLY ARE !!!!! (sorry, just another sidebar comment - WAKE UP PRODUCERS !!! At least pick Michael Jackson or someone from the 80's)

This is turning into a tough

This is turning into a tough competition. Catherine, Taylor, Chris and Mandisa especially have what it takes.......but people...please stop voting for that kid with the glasses who looks like Radar from the TV show "M.A.S.H." I find it incredibly hard to believe he made it this far. I really want to jump into the TV and smack him around!

If anyone should win

If anyone should win American Idol this year, it should be Elliott Yamin! This guy's got 'chops' and this is with having only one good ear! He's humble (unlike Gedeon) and he's original. His rendition of James Moody's, "Moody's Mood for Love" was FANTASTIC!!! If a record company records that version, I guarantee it will sell a million copies! On the girls side, I do like Paris, Lisa, Mandisa, and Melissa....but we all know that there can only be one American idol (although being a couple of runners up don't hurt either, i,e Clay Aiken abd Bo Bice). Anyway, I hope it ends with Elliott being the American Idol and the two runner ups being Paris and Chris.
